I gave it a cursory listen, just for the transitions mostly. None of them are what you might call a real transition mostly they have a distinct pause and then jump immediately into the next song. The closest to actual transitions are between Gomorrah and Bird Song and Ripple and Goodnight Irene.
From the bits I listened to it sounds like Jerry was fairly present in his playing, if not a bit sloppy. A for effort, B- for execution. His vocals are in full on Fozzie mode though.

Thanks P.W. Most of his playing w/ Kahn had a transition between songs as you describe, a distinct pause, not a 'real transition'. I wonder, and probably will never know, why this show is different. Maybe a newbie was taking notes and it just stuck?
